Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed in regards to the high quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services point created for intervention activities a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
